Liquid. 0.2µm-filtered solution in PBS, pH 7.4. Contains no preservatives. CTRP9 belongs to a highly conserved family of adiponectin paralogs. It activates AMPK, AKT and p44/42 MAPK signaling pathways. Expressed predominantly in adipose tissue. Females express higher levels than males. Overexpression of CTRP9 in obese ob/ob mice significantly lowered serum glucose levels.
