Description
CTS RevitaCell Supplement (100X) is a cGMP-manufactured, animal origin-free, chemically defined supplement that is used with pluripotent stem cells (PSCs) to improve cell viability. It can be used either as a post-thaw recovery solution to improve cell viability or in combination with CTS Essential 8 Medium to enhance single cell passaging applications. CTS RevitaCell Supplement includes a higher specificity ROCK inhibitor and reduces the burden in qualifying reagents when transitioning from the research bench to the clinic.

Improves cell survival
Like RUO RevitaCell Supplement, CTS RevitaCell Supplement maximizes cell viability post-single cell passaging and yields high post-thaw cell viability and growth of pluripotent stem cells. Both the RUO and CTS RevitaCell supplements include a ROCK inhibitor that has higher specificity than the traditional inhibitors, coupled with molecules containing antioxidant and free radical scavenger properties that minimize the impact of stress on the cells.

Simplifies the transition from bench to clinic
CTS RevitaCell Supplement is manufactured at a site that uses methods and controls that conform with cGMP for medical devices, 21 CFR Part 820. Our FDA-registered manufacturing site is ISO 13485-certified. Full documentation traceability and convenient access to our Drug Master File (DMF) are available for CTS RevitaCell Supplement. With additional safety testing, including adventitious agents, CTS RevitaCell Supplement enables a smooth transition from RUO RevitaCell Supplement.

CTS RevitaCell Supplement (100X) should be used in combination with cell culture medium as a post-thaw recovery solution to improve cell viability. It can also be used in combination with CTS Essential 8 Medium (Cat. No. A2656101) when performing single cell passaging procedures.
The CTS PSC Cryopreservation Kit (Cat. No. A4239301) provides the same efficient recovery, consistency, and reduced variability as the PSC Cryopreservation Kit (Cat. No. A2644601). However, these two kits have different intended use statements, i.e., “For Research Use or Manufacturing of Cell, Gene, or Tissue-Based Products. CAUTION: Not intended for direct administration into humans or animals” and “For Research Use Only”, respectively. Furthermore, the CTS PSC Cryopreservation Kit has full USP sterility testing info and a Drug Master file (DMF), whereas the sterility testing of the PSC Cryopreservation is via a modified USP method, and it does not have a DMF.
