The Micro 100 Cut-Off Blade has 2 cutting ends and is made of high speed steel. It is 2 inches long and can be used for parting and grooving in lathes, automatic screw machines, and turret lathes. The blade has precision ground edges and is balanced for smooth, chatter-free cutting. It is designed for use on steel, cast iron, aluminum, copper, brass, bronze, plastic and other non-ferrous materials. The blade should be run at surface speeds up to 400 SFM when parting steel or cast iron.
