Copper metal strips (2); 15.9mm dialysis tubing (2); 25 mL Hydrochloric Acid, 3% solution UN 1789; light bulb and wire assembly; empty jar with lid; and instructions

Construct a simple wet-cell battery.

  • When complete, the wet-cell battery will generate 1.5V for 20 to 30 minutes
  • Several cells can be connected in a series to increase the voltage or in parallel to increase the current
