The Sloan Diaphragm Assembly is designed to fit Sloan flush valves including the Royal 111 and 186 models. It is made of neoprene rubber and measures 3-1/2" in diameter. This diaphragm assembly acts as a seal between the upper and lower portion of the flush valve, closing off the water supply. It features a center hole to allow the flush valve plunger to pass through. The diaphragm should be replaced when it becomes cracked, warped, or fails to make a tight seal. This is a genuine OEM replacement part from Sloan that will restore proper function to compatible flush valves.
