Ideal bench top chiller/freezer/incubator for biological samples. Cools or heats samples from -10?C to 100?C with a controlled accuracy of +/-1?C. Features a built-in data logger with 8110 data points collectable in 1 second, 1 minute or 5 minute intervals and RS232 port. Convenient for many molecular biology applications such as: storing enzymes or DNA libraries at work station; maintaining 14?C for ligation reactions; storing samples at ice bath temperatures and more. Accommodates 96-well assay plates and most brands of aluminum blocks that hold 0.2 ml, 0.5 ml, or 1.5 ml-2.0 ml micro-tubes. Surface mounted chilling plate allows convenient access by robotic systems or for use as a chilling/heating microscope stage. Compact size (6 1/2 x 8 3/4 x 3 1/2 Inches) takes up a minimal amount of bench space. Operates on 12 volts DC from an external power supply that is compliant with UL, CSA and CE specifications.
