Convenient for many molecular biology applications such as: storing enzymes or DNA libraries at work station; maintaining 14?C for ligation reactions; storing samples at ice bath temperatures and more. Accommodates 96-well assay plates and most brands of aluminum blocks that hold 0.2 ml, 0.5 ml, or 1.5 ml-2.0 ml micro-tubes. Surface mounted chilling plate allows convenient access by robotic systems or for use as a chilling/heating microscope stage.
