Dihydralazine sulfate is a vasodilator and an antihypertensive agent. In vivo studies have shown that it inhibits haemorrhagic hypotension in rats with renal hypertension (RHR) and spontaneous hypertension (SHR) without causing a concomitant fall in cerebral blood flow (CBF) when administered intravenously at single doses ranging from 0.1 to 2 mg/kg.
