Bachem BIBP3226 Trifluoroacetate

Supplier: Bachem 4034548.0001
BIBP3226 Trifluoroacetate, Diphenylacetyl-D-Arg-4-hydroxybenzylamide, 159013-54-4, C27H31N5O3, Mr 473.58, 1mg. BIBP 3226. The Y1 receptor antagonist BIBP-3226, a derivative of D-arginine, binds to the Y1 receptor with high affinity (its Ki was 7 nM versus the Ki of 0.2 nM for NPY). BIBP3226 also reduced the NPY-induced increase in intracellular calcium as well as the pressor response in vitro and in vivo. BIBP3226 inhibited NPY induced feeding in rats. In dogs, intra-arterial infusion of BIBP-3226 interrupted tonic NPY Y1 receptor-mediated vasoconstriction in exercising skeletal muscle, resulting in substantial increases in experimental limb blood flow. CAS-Number (trifluoroacetate): 1068148-47-9.
