This affinity-purified, high-affinity antibody recognizes digoxigenin (DIG), a small, plant-derived molecule used to label nucleic acid probes for applications such as in situ hybridization. Conjugated to DyLight 488, it allows a one-step fluorescence visualization of DIG-labeled probes with greater photostability, pH independence, and fluorescence than other fluorophores. It is stable from pH 4 to pH 9, making it compatible with many buffers and diluents. DyLight 488 has an excitation maximum at 493 nm and an emission maximum at 518 nm.
