DMG-PEG 2000 (1,2-dimyristoyl-rac-glycero-3-methoxypolyethylene glycol-2000) is a PEGylated lipid used in the formation of lipid nanoparticles (LNP) for the development of mRNA vaccines such as COVID-19 vaccine and for the delivery of nucleic acids such as RNAis. It is derived from dimyristoyl glycerol (DMG) which behaves similar to phospholipids, namely in the way they associate with membranes.
