Canine Total PAI-1 ELISA Kit - Dog PAI-1 total assay is intended for the quantitative determination of total plasminogen activator inhibitor type 1 (PAI-1) in dog plasma. For research use only. Strip well format. Reagents for up to 96 tests. Dog PAI-1 present in plasma reacts with the capture antibody coated and dried on a microtiter plate. Free, latent, and complexed PAI-1 will bind to the plate. After appropriate washing steps, primary antibody binds to the captured protein. Excess primary antibody is washed away and bound antibody is reacted with horseradish peroxidase conjugated streptavidin. TMB substrate is used for color development at 450nm. A standard calibration curve is prepared along with the samples to be measured using dilutions of dog PAI-1. The amount of color development is directly proportional to the concentration of total PAI-1 in the sample.
