Wide base/narrow top design prevents fly meal from falling out when bottle is turned upside down

Drosophila bottles are available in transparent, autoclavable polypropylene and non-autoclavable polyethylene. The bottle openings are designed to accept standard paper lids, foam plugs, cotton balls and Buzz Plugs.
