The DR36VLH6 incubator is designed with features for optimal rearing of Drosophila melanogaster. IncuWhite LEDs are dimmable between 5-100% output with up to 120 µmoles/m2/s irradiance @ 6” from the LEDs. Interior / exterior of smooth white galvanized steel with foamed-in-place non-CFC insulation and a stainless-steel floor for corrosion resistance. A phenolic coated coil prevents waste damage. Pan-type humidifier, dehumidifier and adv. sensor keep and tightly maintain optimal humidity. Five white epoxy coated steel wire shelves adjustable in ½” increments. Self-contained air-cooled condensing unit with hot gas bypass system for continuous compressor operation extends life, ensuring precise temperature control by alternately cycling refrigerant and hot gas to coil; this also prolongs life of compressor, and eliminates risk of ice build up in coil.
