DSPE-PEG-Folate is a PEG derivative containing folic acid with a targeting effect that binds to folate receptors in cancer cells. It forms micelles/lipid bilayers and can be used for targeted drug delivery system research. Nanoparticles constructed with DSPE-PEG-Folate and anticancer drugs primarily enter cells through the endocytosis pathway mediated by FA receptors. These nanoparticles mainly accumulate in the cytoplasm, and the released drugs are distributed in the cytoplasm and nucleus, effectively delivering drugs to the nucleus.
