DURAN™ Grey Bromobutyl Rubber Stopper, Straight Plug, for GL 25 or GL 45 Laboratory Bottles provides a gas-tight seal for GL 25 and GL 45 bottles. Bromobutyl rubber is impermeable to most gases, supports anaerobic conditions, and allows multiple syringe punctures.

  • Bromobutyl rubber elastomer (USP <381> / EP 3.2.9 Type I closure for chemical and penetration tests)
  • Gas-tight seal provides a controlled environment for oxygen-sensitive materials
  • Supports anaerobic culture conditions inside the bottle
  • Allows multiple punctures for easy syringe access to bottle contents
  • Elastic material ensures effective sealing and reliable self-sealing after needle piercing
  • Material is virtually free of organics that might leach into the incubation medium
  • Stopper shape and material properties optimised to fit DURAN™ GL 25 and GL 45 bottles
  • Wide usable temperature range: -50 to +121°C
