Waters TA Instruments EGA Gas Sampling Device for FTIR provides contamination-free transfer of evolved gas from a Discovery TGA/Discovery SDT to an FTIR for gas analysis. It features an inert, corrosion-resistant, non-reactive Silcosteel transfer tube that can be heated to 350 °C, a gas flow-controlled pump system for aspiration, filtration, and thermal stabilization of evolved gases, a trigger cable for FTIR, and a touch screen controller. It requires a separately sold EGA Interface gas sampling adapter and FTIR gas cell for operation.
