Native ascorbate oxidase from Cucurbita species. Catalyzes oxidation of ascorbic acid to dehydroascorbic acid. Suitable for eliminating interference of ascorbic acid in clinical assays and for determination of ascorbic acid. Inhibited by azide, dithiocarbamate, and thiocyanate.
