Battery-powered system produces 3 to 5L/day of Type II purified water directly from tap water
- Supplies purified water at a flowrate of 0.125 gal./min. (0.5L/min.) attaining >1 megohm·cm resistivity at 25°C (77°F).
- Requires DI-PAK Deionization Cartridge (CPDI000L1), sold separately.
Two-stage purification sequence
- Activated carbon first removes chlorine and colloids
- Ion exchange resins remove typical inorganic ions
Optional Millipak-40 Final Filter connects directly to water supply or faucet to remove bacteria particles >22μm at point of use (requires Millipak-40 thread adapter, MDI0 2AD AP).

- Large pack contains 0.7 gal. (3.2L) of ion-exchange resin capable of purifying up to 106 gal. (400L) of feedwater (400μS/cm and 0ppm CO2)
- Medium pack contains 0.5 gal. (2.3L) of ion-exchange resin capable of purifying up to 79.3 gal. (300L) of feedwater (400μS/cm and 0ppm CO2)
- Water produced is suitable for chemical and electrochemical applications, as well as for making buffers, reagents and microbiological culture media
- Can also be used as feedwater for Simplicity™ Ultrapure Water Systems, small autoclaves, and humidifiers, as well as general applications in analytical and bioscience laboratories
