The Kyocera 170GY9 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, carbide end mill with a 1-1/2" overall length. It has a TiAIN coating and can be run at speeds up to 8,000 RPM with feed rates up to 80 IPM. This end mill is designed for slotting, profiling, and contouring in steels and cast irons. It features a center cutting design and a 135 degree split point for plunging. The end mill has a right hand spiral flute and is made in Japan.
