The Kyocera 170HN8 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1-1/2" overall length. It has a TiAlN coating for increased hardness and heat resistance. The end mill has a 30 degree helix angle and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. It is designed for slotting, profiling, and contouring in steels, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The end mill has a tolerance of +/- .0005" and comes with a 30 degree entering angle for easy plunging.
