The Kyocera 170HC0 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1-1/2" overall length. It has a TiAlN coating for increased hardness and heat resistance. The end mill has a 30 degree helix angle and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. It is designed for slotting, profiling, contouring, and face milling in both ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The end mill features Kyocera's high performance micrograin HSS substrate for improved wear resistance and toughness.
