The Kyocera 170HC2 is a 2 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1/2" shank diameter and 1" cutting diameter. It has a TiAlN coating for increased hardness and heat resistance. The end mill has a 30 degree helix angle and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. It is designed for slotting, side milling and contouring in steels and cast iron. The end mill features Kyocera's KY2000 coating technology for improved wear resistance.
