The Kyocera Indexable Face Mill 3-3150-170KA6 is a face milling cutter with a 3" diameter and a 1-1/2" arbor hole. It has 6 indexable carbide inserts with a 170 degree entering angle. The inserts are secured with screws and can be rotated or replaced as needed. The body material is steel with a black oxide finish. This is a versatile face mill for light to medium duty milling of steels, cast iron, stainless steels, and non-ferrous metals. With the proper insert grade selected, it can achieve good finishes and tolerances in a range of materials. The replaceable inserts allow changing to a sharp cutting edge easily.
