The Kyocera 170HC8 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1-1/2" overall length. It has a TiAlN coating for increased hardness and heat resistance. The end mill has a 30 degree helix angle and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. It is designed for slotting, profiling, and contouring in steels and cast irons. The end mill features Kyocera's KY2000 coating for high abrasion resistance.
