The Kyocera 170HD3 is a 3 flute, high-speed steel end mill with a 1/2" shank diameter and a 1-1/2" overall length. It has a 3/4" cutting diameter and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. This end mill is center cutting and right hand spiral. It is designed for slotting, side milling and contour milling in both ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The 170HD3 features a TiAlN coating for increased tool life and heat resistance.
