The Kyocera 61NV71 is a 4 flute end mill made of micrograin carbide with a TiAIN coating. It has a 1/2" shank diameter, 1-1/2" overall length, and 3/4" cutting diameter. The end mill features variable helix flutes for reduced harmonics and chatter and high positive radial and axial rake angles for easy chip evacuation. Recommended cutting parameters are 12,000-18,000 RPM with feed rates from 0.004-0.012 IPR depending on material. It is well-suited for slotting, profiling, and facing in steels, stainless steels, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals.
