The Kyocera 170HG9 is a 2 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1/2" shank diameter and 1" cutting diameter. It has a TiAlN coating for increased hardness and heat resistance. The end mill has a 30 degree helix angle and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. It is made in Japan and well-suited for slotting, side milling and contouring in steels and cast irons. The end mill has an overall length of 3-1/2".
