The Kyocera 170HL5 is a high performance end mill made of micrograin carbide with an AlTiN nano multilayer coating. It has 5 flutes and a 30 degree helix angle. The overall length is 5 inches and it has a 1/2 inch shank diameter. The mill has a center cutting design allowing plunge cuts and slotting. It is well suited for high temp alloys, hardened steels, titanium and nickel based alloys. The end mill provides high metal removal rates, excellent wear resistance and a smooth finish.
