The Kyocera 170HR0 is a 1/2 inch diameter, 4 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1-1/2 inch overall length. It has a TiAlN coating for increased hardness and heat resistance. The end mill has a 30 degree helix angle and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. It is designed for slotting, profiling, and contouring in steels, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals. The end mill features a center cutting design for plunge cuts and slotting.
