The Kyocera 170HM3 is a 3 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1/2" shank diameter and 1-1/2" overall length. It has a 1/2" cutting diameter and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. This end mill is center cutting and right hand spiral. It's made of M2 high speed steel for wear resistance and has an AlTiN nano coating to reduce heat and friction. This is a general purpose end mill suitable for slotting, side milling and contouring in steels, stainless steels, cast iron, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals.
