The Kyocera 170HP5 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high performance cobalt end mill with a 1-1/2" overall length. It features a TiAIN coating and can machine a variety of materials including hardened steels up to 60 HRC. The end mill has a center cutting design and is capable of plunge cuts. It has a 135 degree split point geometry for reduced cutting forces. The maximum spindle speed is 12,000 RPM.
