The Kyocera 170HP6 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high performance cobalt end mill with a 1-1/2" overall length. It has a TiAIN coating and can machine a variety of materials including hardened steels up to 60 HRC, high temp alloys, titanium alloys, nickel based alloys, and stainless steels. The end mill has a center cutting design and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. It is made in Japan by Kyocera and is ideal for high performance milling applications.
