The Kyocera 170HJ7 is a 2 flute end mill made of micrograin carbide with a TiAIN coating. It has a 1/2" shank diameter, 1-1/2" overall length, and 3/4" cutting diameter. The end mill features variable helix flutes for reduced harmonics and chatter and high positive axial and radial rake angles for free cutting. Recommended cutting parameters are 12,000 RPM max with 0.004-0.012" chip load. It can machine steels, cast iron, stainless steels, titanium alloys, nickel alloys, and other non-ferrous metals.
