The Kyocera 170HK4 is a 4 flute, high performance carbide end mill with a 1/2" shank diameter. It has a 1" cutting diameter and can cut up to 1-1/4" deep. The overall length is 3-1/2". This end mill is designed for high feed milling of hardened steels up to 62 HRC, tool steels, mold steels, die steels, ADI, and nodular cast iron. Its advanced substrate and coating deliver high metal removal rates. The 170HK4 features a variable helix flute geometry to reduce harmonics and provide excellent chip control.
