The Kyocera 170HJ3 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1-1/2" overall length. It has a 1/2" shank diameter and features a TiAIN coating for increased tool life and heat resistance. This end mill is designed for slotting, side milling and contouring operations in a variety of materials including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, aluminum and other non-ferrous metals. With its 4 flute design, it provides good chip evacuation while milling. The 170HJ3 end mill is made in Japan by Kyocera and is sold individually.
