The Kyocera 170HK2 is a 2 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1/2" shank diameter and 1-1/2" overall length. It has a 1/2" cutting diameter and can be run at speeds up to 325 SFM. This general purpose end mill is center cutting and right hand spiral. It's made in Japan from M2 high speed steel for good wear resistance. The 170HK2 end mill is well suited for slotting, side milling and contouring operations in most ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
