The Kyocera 170HK1 is a 1/2" diameter, 4 flute, high speed steel end mill with a 1-1/2" overall length. It has a TiAlN coating for increased hardness and heat resistance. The end mill has a 30 degree helix angle and is center cutting for plunge cuts. It is designed for slotting, profiling, contouring, and facing in steels, cast iron, aluminum, and other non-ferrous metals at speeds up to 325 SFM.
