The Kyocera 170HU2 is a 2 flute, uncoated solid carbide end mill with a diameter of 0.5 inches and an overall length of 2 inches. It has a 0.25 inch shank diameter and is designed for high speed machining in aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, plastics, and other non-ferrous materials. The end mill features a 30 degree helix angle and is center cutting for plunge milling. It has a tolerance of +/- 0.002 inches on diameter and is balanced to 25,000 RPM. The 170HU2 end mill is made in Japan from micrograin carbide for wear resistance and strength.
