Description

For staining Mycoplasma colonies. PPLO Stain (for Mycoplasma, Dienes and Weinberger) contains Methylene Blue, Azure II, Maltose, Sodium Carbonate.

  • Mycoplasma, small bacteria without cell walls, are destroyed by the usual methods of smear preparation and heat fixation.
  • On solid culture medium, they form small colonies and are best stained through direct staining of these young colonies.
  • Contents: Methylene Blue, Azure II, Maltose, Sodium Carbonate
  • Solution made from certified dyes
