The specific activity was measured to be no less than 1.5 x 105 IU/mg, although this may vary from lot-to-lot.
This lyophilized powder should be stored at -20 degrees C. For reconstitution, the sample should be briefly centrifuged prior to opening to bring the contents to the bottom. We recommend that you reconstitute in PBS that contains 0.1% BSA or in sterile water to a concentration of 0.1-1.0 mg/mL. The reconstituted stock solution can be split into aliquots that are stable for up to one week at 2-8 degrees C or up to 6 months when stored at -80 degrees C. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles of the resuspended solution. Further dilutions should be made in the appropriate buffered solutions containing BSA or serum to create working stocks.
