The EX03 Exo-spin™ kit only contains pre-packed and equilibrated ready-to-use SEC columns as the precipitation step might not be recommended for some applications (e.g. mass spectrometry) or not needed for small volumes of sera sample. The EX03 Exo-spin™ kit has been developed to process any sample smaller than 100 µl. Plasma contains much higher protein levels than sera and can only be processed directly using the EX02 or EX04 Exo-spin™ kit. EX03 Exo-spin™ kit may be used to clean-up samples which have been purified by other methods, such as precipitation and ultracentrifugation, in order to remove proteins and smaller molecules. Exo-spin™ columns are also very effective for the removal of excess dye in fluorescently labelled exosome samples.
