The PathHunter eXpress HEK 293 RELA Nuclear Translocation Assay provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates affecting the NFκB pathway. This assay kit enables assessment of ligand (e.g. IL-1α) based pathway activation via detection of resulting RELA nuclear translocation. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses ProLink-tagged RELA and nuclear localized EA. Upon pathway activation, induced nuclear translocation of RELA leads to production of EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates.
