The PathHunter eXpress TORC1 Nuclear Translocation Assay provides an easy-to-use cell based assay to study drug candidates affecting the CRTC/CREB pathway. This kit assesses ligand (e.g. forskolin) based pathway activation via detection of resulting TORC1 (CRTC1) nuclear translocation. This product uses EFC technology. The included cell line overexpresses ProLabel-tagged TORC1 (CRTC1) and nuclear localized EA. Upon pathway activation, induced nuclear translocation of TORC1 leads to production of EFC signal. eXpress kits are a convenient, ready-to-use format which contains all materials needed to run the assay, including single-use vials of cryopreserved cells, cell plating media, detection reagent, and assay plates.
