The American Standard 16T986 is an automatic flush valve for toilets. It features a chrome plated body with a polished brass shank and adjustable tailpiece. The flush valve has a diaphragm type flushometer that provides automatic flushing when objects pass through the sensor detection zone. It requires a 1" top spud connection and operates on 4 AA alkaline batteries. The flush valve is ADA compliant and meets ASSE 1037 / CSA B125 standards with a maximum flow rate of 1.6 GPF. It can handle water pressures up to 80 PSI and temperatures up to 180°F. The flush valve comes with a 5 year limited warranty.
