Biotinylate glycoproteins (aldehydes of oxidized sugars) with this mid-length (24.7A) hydrazide-activated biotinylation reagent.

Thermo Scientific™ EZ-Link Hydrazide-LC-Biotin is a mid-length, simple, hydrazide-activated biotinylation reagent for labeling glycoproteins and other carbohydrate-containing compounds having oxidizable sugars or aldehydes.

Biotin hydrazide labeling reagents enable simple and efficient biotin labeling of antibodies and other glycoproteins.

Highlights:

  • Carbohydrate-reactive
  • Labels immunoglobulins in the Fc region
  • Long spacer arm helps prevent steric hindrances
  • Must be dissolved in DMSO (50mM) before adding to aqueous buffer
  • Use pH 4-6 to complete coupling reaction
  • Forms hydrazone bond
