The affinity resin contains Staphylococcus aureus Protein A covalently attached to crosslinked 4% agarose beads. The affinity gel is used to bind the fC portion of the IgG of an antibody to samples such as cell lysates and tissue. The immune complexes bound to the EZview(TM) Red Protein A Affinity Gel are recovered by centrifugation. Red dye enhances visibility for more efficient results.
