The Kyocera Indexable Face Mill is a 3" diameter face milling cutter with indexable carbide inserts. It has 4 cutting edges and uses TPG432 style inserts. The cutter body is made of steel with a TiAIN coating and has a 1" arbor hole. It is capable of light to medium duty facing, surfacing and slotting applications in steel, stainless steel, cast iron and non-ferrous metals. The maximum depth of cut is 0.315" and maximum feed rate is 0.004" per tooth. It has coolant holes to allow high pressure coolant to aid chip removal. The cutter comes with 4 inserts and a removal tool for changing inserts.
