The FastScan™ Phospho-Akt1 (Ser473) ELISA Kit is a sandwich enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) designed to detect endogenous levels of Akt1 when phosphorylated at Ser473. The assay functions by incubating samples with a proprietary tagged capture antibody and an HRP-linked detection antibody, forming a sandwich with the target protein that is immobilized on the plate via an anti-tag antibody. The intensity of the signal measured at 450 nm is proportional to the amount of phospho-Akt1 (Ser473) present in the sample.
