Description

Size and approximately quantify small double-stranded DNA fragments in agarose and non-denaturing polyacrylamide gels. Premixed with Loading Dye for direct loading onto gel.

0.5 μg/lane, 8cm length gel, 1X TBE, 5V/cm, 1.5h. Bands visible: 1353, 1078, 872, 603, 310 281, 271, 234, 194, 118, and 118 bp.

phiX174 DNA is digested to completion with the appropriate Thermo Scientific restriction enzyme, then purified and dissolved in storage buffer. The DNA fragments contain blunt or sticky ends, depending on the restriction enzyme used for the markers preparation.

phiX174 DNA/BsuRI (HaeIII) Marker, ready-to-use is premixed with 6X DNA Loading Dye for direct loading onto agarose and polyacrylamide gels.
