Ferric sulfate reagent is pure ferric sulfate in tablet form with no added ingredients. The reagent is used with K1537 PYZ or comparable tests requiring ferric sulfate reagent. This reagent normally has a very short shelf life but these stable tablets allow fresh reagent as needed. Tablets are sold in packs of 5 dropper vials, each of which are to be reconstituted with water making only 3 ml of fresh usable reagent.
